1. App Account Deletion
Because Tripmetic is built with privacy-first offline capabilities, there are no user accounts to delete. We do not ask for a username, email, or password to use the core application, and we do not maintain a cloud database of your itineraries, budgets, or packing lists.
2. How to Delete Your App Data
Since all your financial and travel data is saved locally on your smartphone using secure local storage (Hive), you can permanently erase all your Tripmetic data in seconds. We do not keep backup copies.
For iOS (Apple) Users:
- Locate the Tripmetic app icon on your Home Screen or App Library.
- Touch and hold the app icon.
- Tap Remove App.
- Tap Delete App to permanently delete the app and all of its local data from your iPhone.
For Android Users:
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps or App Management.
- Select Tripmetic from the list.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data) to wipe your data, OR tap Uninstall to completely remove the app and the data from your device.
3. Deleting Website & Support Data
While the app does not have accounts, you may have interacted with us outside of the app. If you submitted a support request via our contact form or subscribed to our email newsletter, we may have your name and email address on file.
To request the deletion of this communication data:
- Newsletter: Simply click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any promotional email you receive from us. Your email will be automatically and permanently removed from our active mailing list via our provider (Email Octopus).
- Support Logs: Email us at our contact form with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address you used to contact us. We will manually purge your contact history from our support systems within 30 days.
